FISH AID Benefit Events

AFIRM encourages individuals, communities, and organizations to help raise funds for the Gulf of Mexico fishing industry recovery efforts by holding FISH AID benefit events.

In Juneau, local fisherman Scott McAllister and the crew of F/V Owyhee produced the first FISH AID benefit concert and raised over $19,000.

If you would like to conduct a similar event, or have other fundraising ideas, the volunteers of AFIRM can provide technical guidance for planning, recordkeeping, and promotional materials, as well as our network of fishing industry businesses and contacts in your community.
